Sommersilhuett – A Summer Night Worth Keeping

There’s a special kind of quiet that only exists in a Northern summer night.

It’s late—but not dark. The sky is still glowing in soft pastel hues, as if the day simply refuses to end.

That’s where Sommersilhuett (Summer Silhouette) came from. From a walk where nothing really happened, except for everything that mattered.

The kind of walk where you move slowly, not heading anywhere in particular. The city hums faintly in the background— a distant dog bark, a window closing, someone’s laughter echoing for a second, then gone. But mostly, it’s still.

Above you, the sky stretches out in quiet celebration: light blues blending into soft oranges, a band of brightness just below the horizon. And below—those familiar silhouettes: rooftops, antennas, a tangle of wires, some trees standing tall in deep black.

Simple shapes. Ordinary outlines. But tonight, they look almost sacred.

I think we all carry a few of these quiet moments.Moments that don’t demand attention, but stay with us anyway.

For me, Sommersilhuett is one of them. A memory, yes—but also a reminder. That peace is often found in the in-between. That the ordinary can be beautiful. That even when the day is over, the light can linger.
