It was kind of windy here yesterday. The house was quirking, and the wind whining around the corners.

The sea, which we can see from our windows, was dark, with shifting light areas as the wind danced around, and the waves was topped with white.

I love listening to the wind. It’s kind of comforting, and reminds me of Vesterålen where I grew up.

It also made me think about surfers 🏄 and this watercolour I did a few years ago, when we were still living in Vesterålen.

Not far away is Lofoten, where there is a popular beach, Unstad Beach, where surfers from all over the world come to experience the nothern rough beauty, while doing what they love. Surfin’.
